Privacy Policy

Pickup & Delivery Scheduler ("the App") is developed by Northbound Software ("we", "us"). This policy explains what data the App accesses and how it is used.

What we access

When a merchant installs the App, it accesses:

• Order data — the order ID, order name, and the cart note attributes the customer set through the scheduling widget (their chosen pickup/delivery date and time). We use this to record the booking and tag the order for the merchant's fulfillment staff.
• Shop configuration — the availability settings a merchant enters (business hours, slot length, capacity, blackout dates). This is stored to power the scheduling widget shown to their customers.

What we do not access

The App does not read, store, or display customer names, email addresses, phone numbers, or shipping/billing addresses. It does not access payment details. The only customer-originated data it stores is the date/time slot selected at checkout, associated with an order ID — not with any personal identifier.

Data retention

Booking records are retained for as long as the App is installed on a store, so merchants can review scheduling history. If a merchant uninstalls the App, all shop-specific data (settings, blackout dates, and booking records) is deleted within 48 hours, in line with Shopify's app data requirements.

Data sharing

We do not sell or share merchant or customer data with third parties. Data is stored only to operate the App's core functionality.

Compliance

The App implements Shopify's mandatory GDPR webhooks (customers/data_request, customers/redact, shop/redact) to support data subject requests under GDPR and CCPA.
